The School District of Lee County-East Lee County High in Lehigh Acres, FL is seeking a Track Assistant Coach for Boys to support practices, games, and student-athlete development. You will work with coaches to implement drills, strategies, and sportsmanship.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Florida teaching or DOE athletic coaching certificate.
• Must hold valid FHSAA certification.
• Must hold valid First Aid/CPR/AED (AHA or ARC).
• Appropriate combination of education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
• Must hold a valid Florida Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

• Assist with planning, organizing, and conducting regular practice sessions.
• Develop and implement game strategies and tactics.
• Teach fundamental skills, techniques, and sports rules to student-athletes.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and school-sponsored trips.
• Promote discipline, responsibility, and good sportsmanship among players.
• Ensure compliance with school, district, and state athletic regulations.
• Assist with maintenance of team equipment and uniforms.
• Assist with scheduling and facility use.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes on personal development and college opportunities.
• Enforce all school policies and codes of conduct.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
