Job summary

The School District of Lee County in Lehigh Acres, Florida, is seeking a Beach Volleyball Assistant Coach (Girls) to support practice sessions, game strategy, and student growth.

You will teach fundamentals, supervise athletes, and ensure compliance with district athletic policies, while fostering discipline and teamwork for collegiate opportunities.

Evenings, weekends, and school breaks may be required to accommodate schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida teaching certificate or DOE coaching certificate.
• FHSAA certification.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certificate (AHA/Red Cross).
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Any appropriate combination of education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and conducting regular practice sessions.
• Develop and implement game strategies and tactics.
• Teach fundamental skills, techniques, and sports rules to student-athletes.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and school-sponsored trips.
• Promote discipline, responsibility, and good sportsmanship among players.
• Ensure compliance with school, district, and state athletic regulations.
• Assist with maintenance of team equipment and uniforms.
• Assist with scheduling and facility use.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes on personal development and college opportunities.
• Enforce all school policies and codes of conduct.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
