Qualifications

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
• Must be a role model for student athletes through instruction and actions.

Responsibilities

• Has thorough knowledge of athletic policies and ensures implementation by staff.
• Understands system, state and league regulations and interprets them for staff.
• Follows proper line of command and attends required meetings.
• Designs conferences and staff meetings to ensure staff awareness of program.
• Trains staff and encourages professional growth through clinics.
• Delegates duties, supervises implementation and evaluates staff.
