Job summary

Lakeville Area Schools is seeking an Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in guiding student-athletes. This non-exempt role emphasizes integrity, sportsmanship, and the development of students both in and out of competition.

The ideal candidate will have prior coaching experience and possess knowledge of the sport's fundamentals and safety. This stipend position follows the Education Minnesota – Lakeville Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications

• Prior participation, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rules, fundamentals, and safety principles of the sport or activity.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Coach in implementing a clear mission and vision for the program.
• Assist with planning and conducting practices and competitions.
• Communicate effectively regarding team needs and student concerns.
