Tipton Community School Corporation is seeking a qualified athletics coach to lead boys' golf activities and coaching across high school programs. The role emphasizes strong organizational abilities, effective communication with students, parents, and school staff, and a background in golf coaching at the high school level.

Preferred candidates include those with prior paid coaching roles in boys' golf and high school playing experience.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to demonstrate fundamental golf skills (short game, putting, etc).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with students, parents, administration, and staff.
• Preference for prior paid coaching experience as a head or assistant boys' golf coach at the high school level.
• High school level playing experience in boys' golf preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess strong organizational skills and knowledge/ability to demonstrate fundamental skills for golf.
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, parents, administration, and other staff in a productive, motivating, and creative atmosphere.
• Prefer candidate with previous paid compensation as a head or assistant boys' golf coach at the high school level. High school level is defined as a program under the direction/supervision of high school administration at a high school institution accredited by the Department of Education of the State of Indiana (or comparable accrediting body in another state) and also sanctioned by the Indiana High School Athletic Association (or comparable sanctioning body in another state).
• High school level (as defined above) and/or college level playing experience in boys' golf.

Other qualifications that may be considered:

• Coaching experience at the high school level (as defined above) in another recognized boys' athletic program
• Other coaching/leadership experiences with high school aged children within or without high school level settings as defined above.
