The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, and completion of CPR/First Aid. Candidates should understand sports rules and safety, and be able to lift equipment and supervise practices under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 64 semester hours of college credit or KHSAA training as per bylaw 27.
• Must be 21 years of age and pass background checks.
• First aid and CPR certification required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting rules and safety guidelines.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach and other coaches for one or more sports.
• Read and follow oral/written directions and explain rules.
• Assist in planning and organizing practices and programs.
• Demonstrate proper sportsmanship and supervise athletes.
• Support equipment, uniforms, and safety needs.
