Champaign Unit 4 Schools invites applications for the Boys Diving Assistant Coach - Differential Position for the 2026-2027 season at Central High School. The coach should hold IHSA coaching certification or an Illinois Professional Educator License and demonstrate the ability to guide student-athletes in diving skills and teamwork.

Skilled communicators who can build relationships with students and staff, and willing to work nights, holidays, and weekends, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Appropriate coaching certification as regulated by the IHSA --OR-- Illinois Professional Educator License
• Strong knowledge of the sport and an ability to teach and develop the skills of our student-athletes
• Ability to build relationships and serve as a positive role model for students
• Effective communication skills with students and adults
• Willingness and ability to work nights, holidays, evenings and weekends
• Willing to travel with the team to different locations for practices/games, as needed
