Job summary

Leonard Middle School is seeking a committed and experienced Boys A Basketball Team Coach to lead and inspire student-athletes, building a program centered on learning, discipline, and integrity.

Responsibilities include coaching and managing the LMS basketball program, planning practices and games, promoting character development and academic accountability, and collaborating with other coaches, staff, and parents.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and strategy.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and connect with student-athletes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Appropriate coaching certifications and CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
• Compliance with all school and athletic association regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and managing the LMS basketball program.
• Planning and conducting practices, games, and off-season training.
• Promoting character development, academic accountability, and sportsmanship.
• Collaborating with "B" coach, school staff, and parents.
