Silgan Containers seeks a safety-conscious team member to join our packaging operations in West Virginia. You will stack finished product on skids, scan items, operate an automatic wrapping system, and run metal detector tests to ensure product safety and quality.

Additional duties include assigning lanes, reporting any food safety or quality concerns, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Fork truck certification is required or will be provided, and you will be trained to inventory finished

• Scan all finished product
• Operate automatic wrapping system and wrap all finished product
• Perform test on metal detection system to ensure it is in working condition
• Assign and track lanes for all product
• Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
• Will be fork truck certified
• Will be trained to put finished product in inventory and place on trucks
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
