Job summary

Silgan Specialty Packaging LLC is seeking workers to ensure product safety and quality on a packaging line. Responsibilities include stacking, scanning, wrapping with automatic systems, and operating a metal detector to verify safety. Forklift certification will be provided, and staff will be trained to inventory finished goods and load trucks.

Applicants should follow safety rules and procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area while performing related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Operate automatic wrapping system and wrap all finished product.
• Perform test on metal detection system to ensure it is in working condition.
• Will be fork truck certified.
• Will be trained to put finished product in inventory and place on trucks.

Responsibilities

• Assign and track lanes for all product.
• Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
