Silgan Containers is seeking a driven warehouse associate to support production through safe handling and precise packaging of finished goods. You will stack, scan, wrap, and prepare product for inventory, while maintaining clean, organized work areas and following all safety rules.

This role may require forklift certification and on-the-job training to move finished goods onto trucks. You will report quality concerns promptly and uphold the company's equal opportunity policies.

Responsabilidades

• Stack finished product onto skids
• Scan all finished product
• Operate automatic wrapping system and wrap all finished product
• Perform test on metal detection system to ensure it is in working condition
• Assign and track lanes for all product
• Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
• Will be fork truck certified
• Will be trained to put finished product in inventory and place on trucks
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Has a fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all the duties listed below;

• Stack finished product onto skids
• Scan all finished product
• Operate automatic wrapping system and wrap all finished product
• Perform test on metal detection system to ensure it is in working condition

• Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
