Job summary

Silgan Containers is seeking a Boxmaker for the night shift (6:30 PM–6:45 AM) at our Triadelphia, West Virginia facility. You will operate the packaging line, wrap finished product, and ensure product safety and quality.

You will stack product on skids, scan items, monitor metal detectors, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Forklift certification is required, and training will cover inventory placement and truck loading.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate packaging line and wrapping equipment.
• Forklift certification is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Stack finished product onto skids.
• Scan all finished product.
• Operate automatic wrapping system and wrap all finished product.
• Test metal detection system to ensure it is working.
• Assign and track lanes for all product.
• Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
• Will be fork truck certified.
• Will be trained to put finished product in inventory and place on trucks.
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
