Equinox's new Nashville location is seeking a Group Reformer Pilates Instructor. The position entails teaching a small group authentic Pilates on a Reformer, delivering the Equinox Experience to our members, and monitoring the exercise intensity throughout each session. You will work with a supportive team and have access to top-tier facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 400 hours of Pilates education completed through a certification program.
• Valid Pilates certification(s) required.

Responsibilities

• Teach small-group authentic Pilates on a Reformer adhering to class guidelines.
• Deliver the Equinox Experience to members in each class.

• Communicate member feedback, equipment and operational status to the manager.

Job Description

Equinox's new Nashvillelocation is seeking a Group Reformer Pilates Instructor. The position entailsthe following responsibilities. This is not a complete description, and certain responsibilities may additionally be presented along the course of employment:

• Teach a small group authentic Pilates on a Reformer adhering to class guidelines
• Deliver the Equinox Experience to our members in each class
• Continuously monitor the exercise intensity throughout the duration of the class and modify for participants when necessary
• Ensure classes are full as well as start and end on time
• Teach respective classes on a regular basis and keep subbing to a minimum
• Communicate with manager on member feedback, equipment and operational status, scheduling, and subbing

Qualifications

• The successful candidate should have the following experience and qualifications:
• Test out and completion from a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program or completion of certification on all Pilates apparatus including mat, reformer, cadillac/trapeze, wunda chair, high or combo chair, and barrels
• A minimum of 400 hours of Pilates education must be completed througha Pilates certification program
• Applicants must be able to provide a valid copy of their Pilates certification(s)
• Have experience teaching Pilates classes in a related discipline
• Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing
• Must have access to regular email and phone communication

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Standing, sitting, and walking
• Squatting, bending, and reaching
• Pushing, pulling, ability to safely spot and correct clients during session
