Job summary

Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries is seeking a dependable driver to operate standard and manual box trucks, transporting donations and merchandise to and from retail centers and the regional plant. You will select routes, perform daily vehicle inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness to support daily operations.

The role requires a valid Texas driver's license, ability to read instructions, basic math skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid Class C Texas Driver's License or higher.
• Ability to read and follow simple written and oral instructions.
• Basic math skills including money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard and manual box trucks for donations, merchandise, and materials to and from retail centers, the regional plant, and vendor locations.
• Select routing for service and collection of donated items.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report in SAMSARA.
• Load and off-load production and merchandise for stores, plant, and vendors; transport trash as needed.
