Job summary

GLP Transit in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CDL driver to deliver lubricant bulk products to customer sites and maintain compliant logs. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and follow all safety policies. Occasional out-of-town travel may be required as routes are completed.

The role requires a valid Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement, DOT/FMCSA compliance, and a focus on excellent customer service. Eligibility for company bonuses after 120 days is noted.

Primary Responsibilities

• Making deliveries of Lubricant bulk products to customer sites in compliance with state and federal regulations and all company operational and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintaining truck and delivery logs in compliance with state and federal regulations; conduct required pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Communicating customer needs and inquiries to appropriate departments for follow up.
• Preforming duties until route is complete with occasional out of town travel.
• Performing other related duties, tasks and responsibilities in warehouse and driving as required, assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Class A or Class B CDL with clean MVR.
• Tanker endorsement REQUIRED.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Must meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly random drug screens per FMCSA/DOT regulations.
