Job summary

GLP Transit is seeking a qualified CDL driver to operate a Boom Truck and deliver tanks to company sites and customers. You will load and unload tanks, perform safety inspections, and complete required paperwork efficiently and in compliance with company policy.

Requirements include Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a clean MVR, and passing a DOT drug screen and medicals. Weekend availability may be required as part of the schedule, with benefits and competitive wages based on experience and

Description

This position is responsible for operating a Boom Truck to deliver tanks to company owned sites and customers. The driver is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of his or her vehicle, within Company policy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads tanks adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy.
• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items on a daily basis.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
