Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Box Truck Driver for the 2nd shift in Owatonna, MN to safely transport materials between two company facilities.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain clean, safe vehicles, and operate a sit-down forklift, tugger, and pallet jacks to load and unload goods. Collaborate with Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Quality to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• DOT Health Card is required.
• Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a team.
• Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and switching directions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck to shuttle materials between two facilities in Owatonna, MN.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain clean and safe vehicle conditions at all times.
• Operate sit-down forklift, tugger, and pallet jacks for loading/unloading.
• Communicate schedule changes, delays, or material needs to Distribution and Production teams.
• Coordinate with Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Quality teams; be a team player.

Quanex is looking for a Box Truck Driver - 2nd shift to join our team in Owatonna, Minnesota .

The Box Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting materials, finished goods, supplies, and equipment between the two company facilities in Owatonna.

The working hours are Monday – Thursday, 3:30pm - 2am.

What Success Looks Like:

• Operate a box truck to shuttle materials between our two facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post trip truck inspections, report maintenance issues.
• Maintain clean, safe vehicle conditions at all times.
• Operate sit down forklift, tugger, and pallet jacks to perform loading and unloading.
• Communicate schedule changes, delays, or material needs to Distribution and Production teams.
• Coordinate closely with Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Quality teams.
• Cooperates with and supports co-workers and gets involved as a team player.

The hourly range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00 per hour.
