Job summary

Mettler Toledo AG in Kentucky is seeking a driver to serve as the point of contact for local customers and maintain customer relationships by providing high-quality service, and to operate company trucks for timely delivery of products.

You will safely load, unload and transfer products using equipment and forklifts at branch locations, trucks, trailers, and customer sites, with one overnight trip per month to Boston and regular runs to North Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in a safe and punctual manner.
• Transport of both company and customer-owned products.
• Load and unload company vehicle by hand or material handling equipment.
• Coordinate and manage the preventative maintenance of company vehicles.
• Responsible for all associated documentation in relation to transportation and deliveries (e.g. Manifest logs, etc.)
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to provide quality service.
• Perform the job in accordance with all applicable standards, policies and regulatory guidelines (e.g. OSHA and DOT standards,) to promote a safe working environment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Job description
