Job summary

Mettler-Toledo, Troemner unit in New Jersey, is seeking a driver responsible for safe operation of company trucks and timely delivery to customer locations. You will load/unload at branch and customer sites, with regular trips to North Jersey, Pennsylvania, and one overnight trip per month to Boston.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle maintenance, completing delivery docs, and communicating with customers to ensure quality service while following OSHA/DOT regulations. CDL not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and DOT clearance. CDL not required.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in a safe and punctual manner.
• Transport of both company and customer-owned products.
• Load and unload company vehicle by hand or material handling equipment.
• Coordinate and manage the preventative maintenance of company vehicles.
• Maintain transportation and delivery documentation (e.g. Manifest logs).
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to provide quality service.
• Adhere to OSHA and DOT standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
