Job summary

Premier Packaging is seeking a reliable box truck driver to join our team in Illinois. You will be responsible for delivering materials, loading and unloading, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Overtime and some weekend work are required.

A valid DL and medical certificate are essential, with 2–3 years of driver experience preferred. The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and strong communication with warehouse staff and customers.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (DL) and Medical Certificate.
• 2–3 years of previous experience as a box truck driver.
• Overtime hours and some weekend work.
• Able to load and unload corrugated materials onto and from the box truck.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to customers or other destinations.
• Load and unload corrugated materials onto and from the box truck.
• Adhere to safety protocols during transportation and delivery.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the box truck.
• Maintain delivery records and confirmations; report discrepancies promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors.
