Job summary

Premier Packaging is a rapidly growing provider of packaging solutions, seeking a dedicated forklift operator to move corrugated materials within the manufacturing facility. You will load, unload, and transport materials, aiding inventory accuracy and collaborating with the production team to keep schedules on track.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Prior forklift experience and a willingness to adapt to changing production demands are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Certification is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with palletizing and stacking procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklift to move, stack, and transport corrugated materials.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Assist in organizing and managing inventory; perform regular counts to ensure accuracy.

We ask ‘Why’ so we can deliver the ‘How.’Education / Physical / Requirements:At least 18 years of age.Lift up to 25 lbs. alone and up to 50 lbs. assisted.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.1-3 years experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.Experience with different types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, clamp, etc.)Forklift certification is preferred.Familiarity with handling and transporting materials within a corrugated manufacturing environment is a plus.Familiarity with palletizing and stacking procedures.Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory.
