Job summary

QXO in Denver is seeking a reliable Box Truck Delivery Driver to safely deliver building materials to job sites and customer locations. This role blends driving with loading, unloading, and verifying deliveries, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include performing vehicle inspections, maintaining logs, handling signatures, and supporting warehouse operations.

Qualifications

  • Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR

  • Familiarity with building materials preferred

  • Must pass MVR and obtain DOT medical card

Responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with laws and policies
  • Deliver materials to job sites and customer locations on time
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues
  • Verify materials and quantities before/after delivery
  • Obtain signatures or proof of delivery
  • Maintain delivery logs and paperwork
  • Interact professionally with customers and site personnel
  • Assist with loading/unloading and securing materials
  • Support warehouse/yard operations and staging of materials
  • Follow safety policies and PPE usage
  • Report accidents or unsafe conditions promptly
  • Other duties to support operations as needed

What you'll do:

The Box Truck Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of materials to customer locations and job sites. This role combines driving responsibilities with hands‑on support in loading, unloading, and verifying deliveries. The ideal candidate is safety‑focused, reliable, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

  • Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
  • Deliver materials to job sites and customer locations accurately and on time
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
  • Verify materials, quantities, and delivery details before and after each delivery
  • Obtain required documentation, such as signatures or proof of delivery
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete required paperwork
  • Interact professionally with customers and job site personnel
  • Address questions or concerns and ensure a positive delivery experience
  • Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage during transport
  • Assist with returns, exchanges, or corrections as needed
  • Support warehouse or yard operations, including staging and organizing materials
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations
What you'll bring:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
  • Comfortability with working in a combination of driving, warehouse, yard, and outdoor environments
  • Comfortability with exposure to varying weather conditions and job site environments
  • Ability to work extended hours based on business needs
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
  • Must have a smart phone. Must be able to navigate the use of a company provided tablet.
  • Pass MVR report and obtain DOT medical card.
