Job summary

QXO is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely operate company vehicles and deliver materials to job sites and customers. You will perform inspections, verify orders, and obtain delivery signatures while maintaining accurate logs.

The role requires a valid license, DOT Card within 30 days, forklift experience, and the ability to lift heavy loads. You will interact with customers, support warehouse operations, and follow safety protocols in all weather conditions.

• Experience operating a forklift.
• Prior experience in direct customer interaction.
• Ability to lift up to 75-100 lbs.
• Effective communication with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
• Adaptability to work in diverse environments and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Deliver materials to job sites and locations accurately and on time.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Verify materials, quantities, and delivery details before and after each delivery.
• Obtain required documentation such as signatures or proof of delivery.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete required paperwork.
• Interact professionally with customers and job site personnel.
• Address questions or concerns to ensure a positive delivery experience.
• Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage during transport.
• Assist with returns, exchanges, or corrections as needed.
• Support warehouse or yard operations, including staging and organizing materials.
• Follow safety policies and use PPE properly.
• Report accidents or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
