Job summary

QXO is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to safely deliver materials to customer locations and job sites, combining driving with loading, unloading and delivery verification. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable and committed to excellent customer service.

You will operate company vehicles, perform vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and support warehouse operations, all while adhering to PPE and safety guidelines. This is an on-site role in Aurora, IL with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Prior experience in direct customer interaction.
• Ability to lift up to 75-100 lbs.
• Effective communication with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
• Adaptability to work in diverse environments and weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Deliver materials to job sites and customer locations accurately and on time
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Verify materials, quantities, and delivery details before and after each delivery
• Obtain required documentation, such as signatures or proof of delivery
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete required paperwork
• Interact professionally with customers and job site personnel
• Address questions or concerns and ensure a positive delivery experience
• Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage during transport
• Assist with returns, exchanges, or corrections as needed
• Support warehouse or yard operations, including staging and organizing materials
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE
• Report any accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly
• Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations
