PLA is seeking a Box Sorter to join its warehouse team in Bridgeton, MO. The role involves manual inspection and sorting of boxes, palletizing by size, labeling for reuse, and meeting daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Stand/walk for 8+ hours daily.
• Manual labor or similar physically demanding work preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements including squatting, bending, and twisting.
• Detail-oriented: hand-sort and palletize boxes by size while inspecting for damage or reuse.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow Propak policies in a fast-paced environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Break down boxes not received in a broken-down state.
• Inspect boxes for damage and determine reuse suitability.
• Sticker boxes acceptable for reuse by covering barcodes.
• Palletize boxes by size.
• Meet or exceed daily production goals (at least one pallet per hour).
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area during shift.
• Comply with Propak policies and safety rules.
• Assist with other duties to support team operations.
