Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a Box Shop Supervisor to oversee daily Box Shop operations, ensuring timely production and availability of boxes and packaging materials. You will lead hourly employees, uphold safety, quality, productivity, and compliance standards, and coordinate training and performance management.

The role requires 2–5 years of production experience and knowledge of meat processing; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years production experience preferred.
• Knowledge of meat processing and job specifications.
• Management/communication skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Box Shop operations to meet production goals.
• Coach and develop hourly Box Shop employees.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure quality specifications.
• Monitor inventory of boxes and packaging materials.
• Coordinate staffing and training for Box Shop team.
• Prepare employee documentation and records.
• Communicate with other departments to meet packaging needs.
• Identify opportunities for safety, quality, productivity, and cost control.
• Attend supervisor meetings and lead safety and production briefings.
• Ensure compliance with union regulations and company policies.
