Job summary

OWS Foods is seeking a production operator for the 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 1:30 am, Mon–Thu) to support packaging lines and machine operation. You will prepare machines, monitor quality, and perform adjustments while adhering to safety and allergen controls.

The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to work independently or with a team, and forklift experience to move materials. Prior food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school degree, GED, or equivalent required.
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Suite, Google products and various other programs.
• Ability to work alone or as a member of a team, good cooperative skills and may require flexibility in scheduling.

• Prepare machine for startup and shutdown procedures daily, follow production schedule, and perform operator adjustments, quality checks, and repairs to machine as needed.
• Determine packaging material requirements for specific scheduled jobs, maintain logs for downtime, and complete all required paperwork.
• Adhere to QA processes and procedures related to Food Defense, HACCP, and Allergens, as well as all safety training and requirements to ensure all related policies and procedures are followed.
• Will need to operate forklift for materials.
• Work with numerous computer programs.

This position requires creative and innovative thinking, knowledge of packaging material, date code requirements, computer systems and related mechanical understanding of machine operation.

This opening is for a 2nd shift - 10 hour schedule working 3:00 pm - 1:30 am, Monday thru Thursday

Requirements

Minimum:
