Job summary

Legends Global at the Peoria Civic Center seeks a Box Office Supervisor to oversee ticket sales and seller activities. Starting pay is $20-$24 per hour, with benefits including paid vacation, 11 holidays, sick time, group insurance, and 401k.

The role requires supervising box office staff, ensuring accurate cash handling, and coordinating with promoters during events. Must pass background checks and be available weekends/evenings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, accounting, related field or comparable experience is preferred.
• Supervisory experience is essential.
• Prior ticketing experience is helpful.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all ticketing accounting including receipts, data entry and cash handling.
• Prepare weekly staff reports.
• Prepare final box office reports and event settlements as needed.
• Schedule and supervise box office staff during open hours.
• Audit and balance ticket seller cash drawers at shift end.
• Ensure box office stocked with tickets and office supplies.
• Resolve customer service issues.
• Assist with event builds in the ticketing system.
• Communicate with Box Office Manager, Event Staff and Promoters during events.
• Other duties as assigned.
