What this role will do
  1. Supervision of the Department
  • Organize and manage daily & nightly Box Office operations (Will Call, Guest List, Ticket Sales, Ticket Scanning, etc.)
  • Support box office staff in their functions as needed
  • Foster a positive and creative team environment
  • Ensure open communication with the Box Office Manager and all venue departments
  • Provide ongoing staff training and assist with staff evaluations
  • Recruit, hire, and ensure staffing levels meet needs
  • Promote and ensure superior customer service
  • Participate in venue meetings as needed
  • Financial / Cash Handling
    • Ensure cash handling policies are followed
    • Balance and reconcile cash drawers
    • Assist with ticket sales reconciliation and cash deposits
    • Manage pricing initiatives and assist with payroll scheduling
    • Handle band settlements and provide daily ticket counts
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Maintain ticket inventory and monitor ticketing systems
    • Coordinate with Ticketmaster and ensure compliance with ADA laws
    • Develop and update customer database and call systems
    • Interact with artists, management, and record labels
    • Collaborate with VIP and operations teams on various tasks
    • Manage offsite venue coverage and equipment needs
    What this person will bring

    Required:

    • Experience in Box Office / Ticketing Management
    • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Experience in cash handling, leadership, management, and customer service
    • High School Diploma

    Preferred:

    • Experience in live environment operations and handling counterfeit cash
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong prioritization, time management, and multitasking skills
    • Good communication and email etiquette
    Physical Demands/Working Environment:

    Fast-paced, loud, and stressful environment.
