Job summary

Tyson Foods in Springdale, AR is hiring for a Team Member to label boxes, operate case erectors, and support production lines on 2nd shift. You will print labels, set up machines for runs, load and clear jams, and perform related duties as directed by supervision. Candidates should have at least 3 months of food production experience and be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.

Responsible for labeling boxes and operating the case erectors located on the box maker mezzanine.

• Team Member utilizes a PC to print box labels.
• Team Member labels box flats for production.
• Team Member configures the case erector machines for production runs.
• Team Member is responsible for loading and clearing the case erector of jams.

Special Skills

Strong understanding of food safety, operational process, and strong math skills.

Communication Skills

Strong communication skills required.

Environment

Work inside facility, noisy, wet floors, adequate lighting, moving objects, mechanical and electrical hazards. Cold temperatures at times (Temp at or below 50 degrees) Adequate lighting and ventilation. Sanitizing solutions in water and hand sanitizers.

Working Hours / Shift

Days per week and hours per day will vary. 2ND SHIFT (United States of America).

Pay

Pay: $17.65 hour.

Requirements

• 3 months of food industry production experience in the last 2 years (can be combination of employers as long as experience is 3 months within 2 years)
• There is 180 days (6 months) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members.
• Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
