Meyer Distributing is hiring for a Box Machine Operator and Warehouse Operator. This role involves unloading trucks, stocking inventory, and picking orders within a busy distribution environment. You will operate lift equipment and ensure products are correctly boxed, labeled, and prepared for shipping.

The position offers a stable 5-day schedule, with opportunities for performance-based increases. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401K with company match, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months.
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level.
• Must not be afraid of heights.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate warehouse area.
• Use scanners to place parts in bins and pull orders.
• Stock parts on racks and locations.
• Fill orders from stock and route to shipping or pickup area.
• Wrap pallets and band with equipment.
• Assist in inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.

Hourly Rate for Operator:

• $17.00 with opportunities for increases through performance reviews

Schedule: (End times may vary)

1st Shift: Monday-Friday: 9:00AM - 6:00 PM

(Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours)

Requirements for Box Machine Operator:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting
• Ability to operate equipment - forklift/manlift (cherry picker)
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level
• Must not be afraid of heights

Box Machine Operator and Warehouse Operator duties include but are not limited to:

• Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate area of warehouse for restocking
• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pulls orders
• Stock parts on racks in proper location
• Fill orders from warehouse stock and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver/customer pick-up staging area
• Place product on pallets and wraps it in film and bands it using banding equipment
• Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times
• Wear protective toed shoes and work in a safe manner at all times
• Move products manually and with the assistance of a forklift and manlift
• Load trucks and secures product
• All other duties as assigned
