Job summary

Meyer Distributing is hiring a Box Machine Operator for our Kingman, AZ location. The role supports warehouse operations, including unloading, binning, order fulfillment, and inventory housekeeping. You’ll operate a forklift/manlift, meet safety standards, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Compensation starts at $17.00 per hour with potential increases through performance reviews. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with a stable 40-hour work week and opportunities for advancement through

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to perform repetitious bending and lifting.
• Able to operate forklift/manlift.
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months.
• Able to work up to 25 feet above ground level.
• Not afraid of heights.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and distribute products within the warehouse.
• Use scanners to place parts in bins and pull orders.
• Stock parts on racks in proper location.
• Fill orders from warehouse stock and prepare for shipping or pickup.
• Place product on pallets and wrap with film and bands.
• Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory.
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times.
• Move products manually and with forklift/manlift.
• Load trucks and secure product.
• All other duties as assigned.

Meyer Distributing is looking for a Box Machine Operator to join our Kingman, AZ team!

Hourly Rate for Operator:

• $17.00 with opportunities for increases through performance reviews

Schedule: (End times may vary)

1st Shift: Monday-Friday: 9:00AM - 6:00 PM

(Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours)

Requirements for Box Machine Operator:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds


• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting


• Ability to operate equipment - forklift/manlift (cherry picker)


• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months


• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level


• Must not be afraid of heights

Box Machine Operator and Warehouse Operator duties include but are not limited to:

• Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate area of warehouse for restocking


• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pulls orders


• Stock parts on racks in proper location


• Fill orders from warehouse stock and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver/customer pick-up staging area


• Place product on pallets and wraps it in film and bands it using banding equipment


• Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory


• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times


• Wear protective toed shoes and work in a safe manner at all times


• Move products manually and with the assistance of a forklift and manlift


• Load trucks and secures product


• All other duties as assigned
