Job summary

Jabil is seeking an assembler to perform back-end and box-build assembly to ensure on-time shipments of quality products. The role requires following detailed instructions, verifying materials with FIFO, and maintaining equipment and 5S standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The candidate should be able to perform tactile assembly tasks, scan components, and uphold safety and security policies. This position offers full-time employment at our South Carolina facility.

Qualifications

• Calculate quantity of parts to be prepped and ready for use.
• Present information clearly to managers, clients, customers, and public.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Operate a Windows PC and related software.
• Use Jabil software packages proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble back-end and box-build systems using specific tooling and torque drivers.
• Follow verbal or written instructions with visual aids.
• Verify incoming material using FIFO inventory.
• Scan components from flow racks or Kanban locations.
• Maintain production equipment functionality and perform preventative maintenance.
• Uphold 5S housekeeping and safety rules in the work area.
• Adhere to company security procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
