Job summary

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa – Canyon Lanes is seeking an experienced Bartender to craft and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, provide lane-side service, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar area. You will ensure responsible beverage service, deliver fast, friendly guest service, and support bowling center operations with accuracy and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include beverage preparation, POS transactions, inventory management, and maintaining professional standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bartending school or hospitality training preferred.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service required or must be obtained upon hire.
• Experience operating POS systems, managing bar inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and presentation.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.
• Experience in Bowling Center management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests at the bar, lane-side, or service areas.
• Prepares beverage orders for cocktail servers in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
• Draws beer from taps, pours bottled beverages, and maintains proper portion control.
• Verifies the age of all guests consuming alcohol; restricts service to underage or visibly intoxicated individuals.
• Processes payments, handles cash transactions, and operates the approved POS register system accurately.
• Provides timely and courteous food and beverage service, ensuring five-star customer service at all times.
• Busses glasses, dishes, and utensils; maintains cleanliness of guest seating areas and assigned sections.
• Washes and sanitizes bar tools, glassware, and equipment in accordance with health and safety practices.
• Maintains stock levels, rotates inventory, and ensures bar products, garnishes, and supplies are fully replenished.
• Conducts daily and weekly bar inventory and communicates ordering needs to management.
• Ensures bar counters, equipment, and prep surfaces remain clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation standards.
• Monitors guest behavior and alcohol consumption; follows all responsible beverage service policies.
• Supports special events, busy periods, and promotional activities as needed.
• Maintains a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and guest-focused approach.
• Verifies guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and adheres to all ABC regulations, RBS training standards, and internal policies.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
