Job Description
The Bowling Attendant will be responsible for ensuring that our bowling alley operates smoothly and efficiently. You will assist guests with their needs, maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the bowling area, and contribute to a fun and welcoming atmosphere.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Greet guests warmly and provide information about bowling services. Assist with lane assignments, shoe rentals, and scoring systems.
  2. Monitor bowling lanes to ensure proper functionality, addressing and resolving minor technical issues with lane equipment or scoring systems and reporting any unresolved issues to management.
  3. Respond promptly and proactively to guest inquiries and requests.
  4. Provide guests with guidance on proper bowling techniques and ensure all safety guidelines are followed, addressing any unsafe behaviors and reporting all incidents to management.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized bowling environment, including ball return stations, seating areas, rental shoes, and bowl desk.
  6. Ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience while assisting with set-up, coordination, and management for special events such as bowling leagues, tournaments, parties, etc.
  7. Work closely with other cast members, including servers and bartenders, to provide a seamless guest experience.
  8. Proactively monitor and manage inventory levels of bowling supplies such as balls, shoes, and accessories.
  9. Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Skills + Abilities included but are not limited to:
  1. Exhibit hospitality-minded attitude; friendly, outgoing, guest-focused.
  2. Able to take direction and work together as a team.
  3. Work calmly and execute job duties effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Possess basic math skills to comprehend proper handling of transactions.
Education + Experience + Requirements:
  1. HS Diploma or GED certificate preferred.
  2. Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.
  3. Must be at least 16 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs.
  2. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
  3. Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise, flashing lights, and repetitive motions.
