MWR Academy Bowling Alley in New London, CT is hiring a Recreation Aid to support a variety of recreational programs and services for patrons. The role involves assisting with activities, equipment usage, scheduling lanes, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across the facility.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 45 lbs, basic math, and the capacity to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Formación

• Must learn USCG MWR policies and regulations and communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs; with assistance if needed.
• Experience performing similar duties.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee activities and services for authorized patrons.
• Provide information on facilities and equipment usage.
• Issue tools, equipment and games; check IDs; collect fees if applicable.
• Assist in directing patrons, scheduling lanes/equipment.
• Check inventories and assist in games and social events.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; monitor security.
• May perform clerical, custodial, or maintenance duties and operate cash register.
