Job summary

Quazar Capital is hiring a full-time Investment Banking Analyst to start in October/November 2026 in Minneapolis. You will execute M&A transactions and strategic advisory engagements for founder- and family-owned businesses across multiple industries in a boutique, entrepreneurial setting.

Responsibilities include market research, financial modeling, and client deliverables. Requires a Finance or Accounting degree, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); CRM familiarity is a plus.
• Professional demeanor and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market, industry, and buyer research to support engagements and business development.
• Track and analyze M&A trends for client communications and marketing.
• Prepare financial models, forecasts, valuations, and transaction scenarios.
• Assist in developing business plans, budgets, and strategic analyses.
• Support creation of client deliverables (CIMs, presentations, pitch materials).
• Participate in buyer/seller outreach, due diligence, and transaction documentation.
• Serve as a responsive point of contact for clients, investors, and partners.
• Coordinate internal deal team efforts and manage timelines.
