Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a hotel maintenance professional at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh. This role involves servicing and maintaining all hotel mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general building components.

You will also paint, repair furniture, and participate in ongoing training to ensure guest comfort and safety. Flexibility is required to cover nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for career growth within Marcus Hotels & Resorts'

Qualifications

Previous experience as a hotel engineer or similar maintenance role at an apartment complex or office building.
Flexible schedule; able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Maintain all equipment, systems and building components including mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks and fixtures.
Build, repair, and paint all parts of the hotel; install/replace lighting fixtures and bulbs.
Clean carpets and rugs; inspect machinery and equipment; detect malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
Repair and maintain the structure; fabricate and repair furniture and fixtures; attend training and meetings.
