Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts in San Francisco seeks an experienced hotel catering sales and events professional to lead planning, negotiate contracts, and coordinate vendors for corporate meetings and private events.

You will manage BEOs, room layouts, menus, AV, and third‑party services, ensuring a seamless client experience, timely turnover to the CSM, and proactive, clear communication with clients. This role requires close collaboration with sales, culinary, engineering and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of hotel catering sales or event services experience.
• Strong knowledge of BEOs, floor plans, AV, rentals and event financial controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, solicit, negotiate and book corporate meetings and events; achieve revenue goals.
• Develop relationships with corporate planners, associations, and referrals; manage inquiries and proposals.
• Prepare event contracts with pricing, deposits and terms.
• Coordinate AV, decor and third-party vendors for client events.
• Maintain Delphi records, contracts, BEOs, diagrams and client approvals.
• Lead client planning for menus, seating, and special requests.
• Ensure turnover to CSM with finalized BEOs and vendor specs at least seven days before events.
• Respond to client inquiries within two to three business hours.
