Job summary

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking a bartender to craft personal guest experiences and deliver outstanding service in a vibrant boutique setting. You will greet guests, take orders, pour drinks, and support servers while maintaining bar operations with accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of bartending experience, strong knowledge of wines and spirits, and flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3 years of bartending experience preferred.
• Excellent wine and spirits knowledge.
• Knowledge of credit card and cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Flexible schedule; able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and promptly serve food and beverages.
• Pour drinks per specifications and process orders in POS with accuracy.
• Serve food and drinks; assist servers with orders.
• Notify a manager if a guest becomes intoxicated or rude.
• Fill and clean ice bins; stock beer and wine coolers; change kegs.
• Clean shelving, stainless steel, mixers, cups, blenders, soda guns.
• Follow uniform and grooming specifications.
• Maintain communication with support crew and management.
• Unpack deliveries and stock the bar.
• Take on additional duties as needed.
