Job summary

The Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience Bardstown, KY is seeking a part-time onsite Bartender to deliver a memorable guest experience. You'll manage bar operations, mix classic and innovative cocktails, and share knowledge of bourbon history with visitors.

Candidates should have at least two years of bartending experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and be willing to obtain STAR certification within 90 days. Flexibility for nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a bartender.
• STAR certified or willing to attain STAR certification within 90 days.
• Familiarity with bourbon knowledge and language.
• Ability to create classic and innovative cocktails and menu offerings.
• Excellent oral communication and guest education skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of Heaven Hill Brand products, especially bourbons.
• Execute a wide variety of cocktails with attention to timing, presentation and portion sizes.
• Develop bar offerings and ensure efficient service to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and maintain bar cleanliness.
• Provide an exceptional guest experience and engage guests with education on drinks and menu selections.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management and maintain good distributor relations.
• Comply with state liquor regulations and uphold health standards and local guidelines.
