Candidates must have proven bartending experience, formal mixology training preferred, and be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work weekends and late nights.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior craft cocktail-making skills.
• Extensive knowledge of bourbon and ability to educate customers.
• Completion of mixology, bar-keeping, or related training preferred.
• Advanced bartending skills.
• Minimum of one year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide best and highest quality craft cocktails and drinks to guests.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of bourbon and assist customers in making selections.
• Deliver the highest level of customer service to every guest, including greeting and thanking guests.
• Continuously train, learn, and gather knowledge about the alcohol industry.
• Maintain the bar: keep it clean and organized during the shift.
• Ensure garnishes are prepared ahead of opening.
• Attractively display glasses and liquor bottles.
• Ensure customers are of legal drinking age.
• Refuse service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons when necessary.
• Address escalations promptly to Head Bartender and Bar Manager.
• Submit orders or create requisition forms for liquor and related supplies.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
