DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP seeks a Project Surveyor for an office-based role in West Henrietta, NY, with some travel to MA/PA. Focus on boundary surveys, metes-and-bounds, ALTA, topographic and utility projects. You’ll process data, draft legal descriptions, and collaborate with licensed surveyors and engineers.

Proficiency with Leica, Pix4D, Trimble, Carlson, AutoCAD Civil 3D/Map 3D, and MicroStation is essential. PLS preferred but not required; a surveying degree is advantageous.

Qualificações

• 5–10 years of land surveying experience with strong boundary survey expertise.
• Proficiency in survey data processing with Trimble Business Center and Carlson.
• Experience with point cloud processing (Leica Register 360) and sUAV (Pix4D).
• Advanced CAD drafting skills with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map 3D, and/or MicroStation.
• Ability to write accurate metes and bounds and ALTA survey descriptions.

Responsabilidades

• Process survey data for boundary, topographic, and utility deliverables.
• Perform point cloud processing and 3D modeling.
• Conduct sUAV aerial photogrammetry to produce orthomosaics and DTMs.
• Draft survey maps and exhibits using CAD software.
• Prepare precise legal descriptions for boundary surveys and easements.
• Conduct deed research and monument analysis; prepare boundary plats.
• Collaborate with field crews to ensure data accuracy and support field tasks.
• Integrate survey data with engineers for infrastructure projects.
• Engage with clients to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality deliverables on time.
