DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP seeks a Project Surveyor for an office‑based role in West Henrietta, NY with some field work. You will focus on boundary surveys, metes and bounds, ALTA surveys, and related topographic/utility projects, while processing data and drafting deliverables using Leica, Pix4D, Trimble, Carlson, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.

You will report to the Survey Manager (MA/PA) or Senior Project Surveyor (NY) and collaborate with licensed surveyors, CAD drafters,

Formación

• Five to ten years of land surveying experience with strong boundary survey expertise.
• Proficiency in Trimble Business Center and Carlson data processing.
• Experience with point cloud processing (Leica Register 360) and sUAV photogrammetry (Pix4D).
• Advanced CAD drafting skills with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map 3D, and/or MicroStation.

Responsabilidades

• Process survey data for boundary, topographic, and utility surveys.
• Perform point cloud processing and 3D modeling.
• Conduct sUAV photogrammetry to produce orthomosaics and topographic data.
• Draft survey maps, plats, and exhibits per client and regulatory standards.
• Prepare legal descriptions including metes and bounds and ALTA surveys.
• Conduct deed research and monument analysis; prepare certified boundary plats.
• Collaborate with field crews to ensure data accuracy and support field tasks as needed.
• Integrate survey data with engineers from DDS’s Land Development and Energy Services Groups.
• Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements and deliver quality deliverables on time.
• Maintain project documentation and uphold DDS quality standards.
