Job summary

Sumaria Systems LLC is seeking a Firewall/Network Security Administrator to support Air Force boundary protection and cybersecurity operations. The role requires monitoring, configuring, and maintaining enterprise security devices and coordinating with government stakeholders to ensure mission-critical network availability.

The position involves working across three shifts, with a focus on incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability remediation in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network security, network administration, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Current Security+ or DoD 8140 cybersecurity certification.
• Experience configuring, operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting firewalls, routers, switches, IDS/IPS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network security and boundary protection technologies.
• Analyze security alerts and network events to determine impact and coordinate response actions.
• Configure and maintain network security devices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, routers, and switches.
• Review firewall rules, ACLs, and security policies for secure operations.
• Assist with vulnerability management and DISA STIG compliance activities.
