Boulder Surveillance Investigator Trainee

Arizona Charlie’s Boulder (Las Vegas, NV)

Description

Summary: Under the supervision of surveillance investigators, the trainee utilizes surveillance equipment to identify, record, and report illegal, suspicious, or unusual activities, as well as policy violations across gaming, non-gaming, and back-of-the-house areas. Maintains knowledge of current property gaming operations, surveillance procedures, and company policies.

Essential Functions
  • Monitor guest and employee activities using CCTV systems
  • Make tape changes
  • Conduct player evaluations, audits, and close watches
  • Perform weekly VCR checks
  • Conduct dealer pace audits quarterly
  • Test for Investigator Level 1 within six months of hire or as required
  • Engage in continuous self-education and demonstrate knowledge through quizzes
  • Ensure compliance with gaming laws, internal controls, policies, Title 31, and federal regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in law enforcement, security, or surveillance systems (preferred)
  • Previous gaming experience (preferred)
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple variables
  • Ability to interpret instructions in various formats
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
