BOULDER SURVEILLANCE INVESTIGATOR TRAINE

Description

Summary: Under the supervision of surveillance investigators, the trainee uses provided equipment to identify, record, document, and report illegal, unusual, or suspicious activities, as well as policy or procedure violations across gaming, non-gaming, and back-of-the-house areas. Maintains knowledge of current property gaming operations, surveillance standard operating procedures, and company policies.

Essential Functions

  • Monitor guest and employee activities using CCTV systems
  • Perform tape changes
  • Conduct player evaluations, audits, and close watches on specific individuals and departments
  • Conduct weekly VCR checks
  • Conduct quarterly dealer pace audits
  • Test for Investigator Level 1 within six months of hire or as required
  • Engage in continuous self-education and take job-related quizzes as directed
  • Ensure compliance with gaming laws, internal controls, policies, Title 31, and federal regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: One year experience in law enforcement, security, or surveillance systems
  • Preferred: Previous gaming experience
  • Ability to solve problems using common sense and handle multiple variables
  • Ability to interpret and communicate instructions in various formats
  • Effective communication skills in group and one-on-one settings
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
