Job summary

BioLegend, Inc. is seeking a Bottling Technician I or II for our Form, Fill, and Finish Group. This role processes product formulations, dispenses antibody products, caps, labels, and completes batch records, while stocking finished goods inventory.

This fast-paced position offers team-based collaboration and a path to grow within the biotech industry. Working hours are 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or some college.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience in a laboratory and/or biotech manufacturing and/or filling/bottling/packaging environment.
• 6 months of hands-on experience in pipetting or dispensing liquid products.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bottling tasks including dispensing antibody solutions, capping and labeling of vials, tubes or bottles, and assembling kits.
• Formulate products per SOPs and work instructions including multi-component formulations.
• Verify formulation worksheets for concentrations, lot numbers and other details.
• Put away finished goods according to designated temperature conditions.
• Use Microsoft Excel and related software.
• Set up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations.
• Operate process equipment such as filling lines and capping/labeling machines.
• Follow instructions and health/safety guidelines.

Job Summary

BioLegend is looking for a Bottling Technician I or II for our Form, Fill, and Finish Group. This role will be responsible for processing product formulations, dispensing antibody products, capping, labeling, kitting and completing batch records, and putting away finished‑good inventory (FGI). This is a highly team‑oriented group which involves working closely with other core teams within the Bottling Department as well as with Planning, Receiving, Inventory Control, Custom Solution Team (CST), Packaging and Quality Control groups.

Essential Functions

• Assist in performing various bottling related tasks including dispensing antibody solutions, capping and labeling of vials, tubes or bottles, and assembling kits.
• Formulate products per approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions including multi‑component cocktail formulations.
• Verify formulation worksheets to ensure that information such as concentrations, lot numbers and other details are correct.
• Put away finished goods products according to their designated temperature conditions.
• Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel.
• Set up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations.
• Operate computer‑controlled process support/process equipment (e.g., filling line, lyophilizer, capping, labeling machine).
• Follow instructions for completion of job tasks.
• Adhere to correct procedures, policies and health/safety guidelines.
• Clean and maintain work area and all lab equipment and supplies.
• May perform data entry and production documentation completion tasks.
• Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Experience

• High school diploma, GED or some college.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience in a laboratory and/or biotech manufacturing and/or filling/bottling/packaging working environment.
• 6 months of hands‑on experience in pipetting or dispensing liquid products.

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Experience

• At least 6 months of experience with automatic filling machines.
• Aseptic technique in a biosafety cabinet.
• Demonstrated high levels of teamwork, quality, and productivity.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Lab

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment.

The base hourly range for this full-time position is $18.25 – $22.00 per hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. The base pay range does not include bonuses, equity or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
