Job summary

Silgan Containers is seeking a production team member on the Franklin, KY line to inspect and pack bottles at standard rate, while maintaining a clean work area. Responsibilities include operating a punch, loading conveyors and flamers, removing scrap, grinding, pulling plastic, and carton packaging.

Must read bottle specifications for correct inspection and maintain good attendance. The role requires High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience.

• Must be dependable with good attendance and able to understand bottle specifications to assure proper inspection.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment and adhere to safety policies.
• Pack on line at standard rate and operate a punch as needed.
• Load conveyors and flamers; assist in scrap removal and grinding.
• Pull plastic and unitize cartons; initial and date box labels.
