Silgan Plastics Corporation is hiring for an inspect-and-pack associate on standard-rate lines. Responsibilities include inspecting bottles, packing, and keeping the work area clean, plus helping with scrap removal and carton tape/unitization. Preferred education is High School or GED and at least 1 year manufacturing experience.

Day shift pays $18.09 hourly and night shift $19.09 hourly, with benefits. This full-time role features 12-hour shifts (days and nights) with different weekly hour

Qualifikationen

• Must be dependable with good attendance and able to read bottle specifications to assure proper bottle inspection.
• General understanding of quality requirements for containers and adherence to safety procedures.
• Able to train on job requirements and follow standard practices for packing and line work.

Aufgaben

• Inspect and pack bottles at standard rate on assigned line(s).
• Maintain housekeeping; assist in scrap removal and grinding; tape and unitize cartons as needed.
• Train new personnel on job requirements and ensure effective communication and documentation.
